What Are the Available GLB Configurations?

For the 2020 model year, Ashburn and Fairfax-area drivers will be able to find the new Mercedes-Benz GLB in two configurations:

• The base model, the GLB 250 SUV, will start at $36,600* MSRP.
• For added security and more engaging performance, you can opt for the GLB 250 4MATIC® SUV. It starts at $38,600* MSRP.
• Either can be had with the standard five-passenger cabin, or with an optional third row for a seating capacity of seven.

Both models come standard with MBUX, MB-Tex® upholstery, 40/20/40 split-folding 2nd-row seats, 3-setting power front memory seats, a 7-inch touchscreen display, 4 USB ports, and much more. Looking for a little something extra? Although there are only two primary configurations to choose from, you’ll be able to select from a wide range of available Mercedes-Benz GLB features.  Interested in AMG® vehicles? How Does the GLB Compare to Other Mercedes-Benz SUVs?

The new Mercedes-Benz GLB is a compact SUV, comparable to both the GLA and the GLC. However, unlike either of these options, it’s offered with an available third row. Here’s a closer look at its dimensions:

• The GLB measures 182.4 inches from end to end. You’ll enjoy up to 41.1 inches of 1st-row legroom, 38.1 inches of 2nd-row legroom, and 29.1 inches of 3rd-row legroom.
• With the rear seats upright, the five-passenger configurations offer 20 cubic feet of cargo space. Fold the rear seats down, and you can access up to 62 cubic feet of cargo space.

Currently, the only engine you can find in a new Mercedes-Benz GLB is the formidable 221-hp 2.0L I4. Although more options may become available down the line, you can count on the I4 to offer a compelling balance of power and efficiency.
