The 2027 Mercedes-Benz GLC with EQ Technology is the next step in the GLC’s evolution. This all-electric model offers more than impressive engineering. It also introduces new technologies and a completely refreshed exterior.
The GLC with EQ Technology is a crossover SUV designed with an 800-volt platform and featuring two electric motors. These motors drive both the front and rear wheels with 4MATIC® all-wheel drive. The top trim level, the GLC 400 4MATIC®, produces an impressive 483 horsepower. The GLC 300+ features a single-motor layout with rear-wheel drive, producing 369 horsepower. The upgraded AIRMATIC® suspension system further enhances the performance of this EV. The battery is estimated to only need 25 minutes to charge from 10% to 80%.
The captivating style of the 2027 GLC with EQ Technology introduces the brand’s updated body language. The model has an expressively sloping profile with a long, elegantly defined hood. The sides are designed with decadent sculpting over the doors and rounding over the rear haunches. The front end introduces a fresh grille design for the brand. The almost rectangular grille is styled with a trio of horizontal chrome bars and holds the brand’s logo. The headlights are also refreshed with a unique, three-pronged LED light element that pays tribute to the logo.
The interior of the 2027 GLC EV has been modernized, featuring a 39.1-inch Hyperscreen that spans the dashboard. This screen features a 14-inch multimedia display and a 10.3-inch digital instrument display. It is also designed with a glass roof that turns opaque with the simple touch of a button. New, vegan-friendly upholstery is now standard. Many of the features available in the 2026 GLC are also offered in the 2027 model. Some of these are ambient cabin lights, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto® with wireless connections, adaptive cruise control, heated seats, a heated steering wheel, two household power outlets, a navigation system, a head-up display, a surround-view camera system, a premium sound system, insulated windows, a driver attention warning, forward collision mitigation, a wireless charging pad, and numerous other features.
