PRESAFE® Functions

What does the Mercedes-Benz PRESAFE® system do? As mentioned, it’ll kick in when a potential accident is sensed, and then it takes the following steps to protect you from harm:

• To prevent passenger injuries, the front head restraints adjust and move to the best possible position for maximum crash protection.
• The windows and sunroof close if a rollover is possible, preventing debris from entering the cabin.
• Increased tension in the front safety belts helps to protect passengers from injury.
