With the introduction of the 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class, a new generation begins! This model has been completely redesigned from top to bottom, and it’s easy to see where improvements and changes have been made. Here’s a closer look at the updates that have been introduced for the new year:
Mercedes-Benz C-Class: Body & Exterior Changes
- A bold new cab-backward design extends the length of the C-Class carriage and gives this entry-level luxury sedan a more luxurious feel.
- The C-Class windshield rises more sharply with this new generation.
- The redesigned Mercedes-Benz C-Class also features a new A-shaped grille and tapered, two-part taillights.
Mercedes-Benz C-Class: Interior Updates
- A freestanding 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and a portrait-style 11.9-inch central touchscreen display are among the most notable additions to the cabin of the new C-Class. The new C-Class is the first model to tilt the touchscreen forward to the driver by six degrees.
- An updated version of Mercedes-Benz User Experience comes standard, along with Voice control, wireless Apple CarPlay™, and wireless Android Auto™.
- Heavily bolstered front seats make the C-Class feel sportier and more fun to drive than ever!
- Part of a family with multiple drivers? The 2022 C-Class will offer biometric identification via a new fingerprint scanner, so you can switch between profiles and settings at a moment’s notice.

Mercedes-Benz C-Class: Performance Updates
- With standard power output of up to 255 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque, the 2022 C-Class Sedan is ready for adventure in South Riding and Centerville. (This also means that it has an advantage of 22 lb-ft of torque over the outgoing model.)
- Ready to pull out all the stops? The 2022 C-Class will offer the latest mild-hybrid EQ Boost technology, which lets you access up to 20 additional horsepower and 148 additional lb-ft of torque when the mood strikes you!
The 2022 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Release Date is Almost Here!
